Welcome to the 19th Annual Milwaukee Feis!
Presented by the Milwaukee Feis Society
19 years ago we began this feis with a humble 400 dancers.
The Milwaukee Feis is now one of the largest,
and is the longest running feis in Milwaukee,
and we are very proud to still be keeping the tradition alive today!
Once again, the 2008 Milwaukee Feis will be held
at the Student Union at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
(2200 E. Kenwood Blvd).
This is a gorgeous campus and a great place for a feis.
With plenty of room to spread
out, places to eat and fun for everyone around the neighborhood,
we are happy to hold our feis at this location once again in 2008.

Reminder Regarding Registration
"New entries for the Milwaukee Feis are now closed.
If you have entered but have not yet paid, you have until 11:59 p.m. Central Time on Friday, July 25th to pay.
All unpaid entries will be dropped as of Saturday, July 26th."
*Once registered, from Monday, July 21st - Sunday, August 3rd you may make changes or additions to EXISTING entries with the late fee.
*New entries for First Feis and non-dancing competitions will be accepted, with no late fee, until Sunday, August 3rd.
"To make changes to your existing entry before Monday, August 4th, please email Maura at milwaukeefeis@gmail.com."
*No entries, changes, additions or payments will be accepted as of Monday, August 4th.

If you have registered and not paid as of 10:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, July 22nd your entry will not be listed.

Updated Information
Preliminary Championship and Open Championship competitions will run youngest to oldest and will begin with soft shoe.
Figures will be first on every stage, immediately followed by First Feis and Beginner 1 competitions. On most stages, Beginner 2 - Prizewinner will follow First Feis and Beginner 1.
For First Feis - Prizewinner, competitions will run in the following order: Light Jigs, Reels, Slip Jigs, Hornpipes, Treble Jigs, Traditional Sets and Treble Reels.
The Stage Schedule will be ready by Monday, July 28th. Please check the Stage Schedule page of this website to see it when it is ready.

Beginner 1 – Prizewinner:
First PAID 1000 entries
Preliminary and Open Championship: First PAID 300 entries

beginning on Friday, May 30th (time tbd)
*All entries must be paid for in order to be
considered completed and accepted.
*All payments must be done on www.feisworx.com
with credit card –
no checks/mail-in payments accepted.
*Any and all entries not paid for by
August 3rd/before August 4th will be dropped.

* We will have a separate area for results in the Union Theater which is located just across the Hall from the Wisconsin Room where these competitions are held.
* During the day, after each competition is completed, announcements will be made stating the time for each competition’s results.
ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGES OR ADDITIONS WILL BE MADE ON THE DAY OF THE FEIS!
ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN!
ABSOLUTELY NO VIDEOTAPING OR PHOTOGRAPHY WHILE DANCERS ARE IN MOTION!
